Eibach Pro-Kit Lowering Springs Now Available for Porsche 911 Turbo S 992.1

Eibach has expanded its Porsche suspension range with a new Pro-Kit developed for the 2020–2024 Porsche 911 Turbo S AWD (992.1).

Designed to work with the Porsche 911's factory electronic damping system, the new Eibach Pro-Kit E10-72-022-01-22 offers a subtle but effective reduction in ride height, giving the 992 Turbo S an even more purposeful stance while further enhancing its handling characteristics.

Better still, the kit is also compatible with cars equipped with Porsche's Front-Axle Lift system.

And for a limited time, we're offering 20% off, bringing the price of the kit down to just £454.50.

How Much Does the Eibach Pro-Kit Lower a Porsche 992 Turbo S?

The amount of lowering depends on whether your Porsche 911 Turbo S is equipped with standard PASM or the lower PASM Sport suspension.

Porsche 911 Turbo S with PASM Sport

  • Front: approximately 15mm

  • Rear: approximately 12mm

Porsche 911 Turbo S with PASM

  • Front: approximately 25mm

  • Rear: approximately 22mm

These figures correspond closely with Eibach application data published for the kit, which lists approximately 0.6"/0.5" lowering for PASM Sport and 1.0"/0.9" for PASM-equipped Turbo S models.

The difference is because PASM Sport cars already sit lower from the factory, so less additional lowering is required to achieve the intended ride height.

What's the Difference Between PASM and PASM Sport?

PASM – Porsche Active Suspension Management – is Porsche's electronically controlled adaptive damping system. Rather than using dampers with a single fixed characteristic, PASM can continuously adjust the damping to suit the driving conditions and selected driving mode.

PASM Sport takes this a step further with a lower, more performance-focused factory suspension setup.

Because the starting ride heights differ, Eibach specifies different lowering figures depending on which suspension your 992.1 Turbo S has.

Crucially, the Eibach Pro-Kit has been designed and tested to work with the factory PASM electronic dampers, allowing owners to improve the stance and suspension characteristics without replacing the complete factory adaptive damper system.

Designed for the Porsche 911 Turbo S

The 992.1 Turbo S is already an exceptionally capable performance car, so lowering it isn't simply about getting the car closer to the ground.

The Eibach Pro-Kit is designed to complement the existing chassis.

By reducing the vehicle's centre of gravity, lowering springs can help reduce unwanted body movement during acceleration, braking and cornering. The result is a more planted feel and sharper response, while the reduced wheelarch gap gives the 992 an appropriately aggressive stance.

Eibach describes its Pro-Kit range as being developed to improve handling and appearance while retaining excellent ride quality, using a progressive spring design to balance everyday usability with increased chassis control.

For a car such as the Turbo S, that's particularly important. This isn't about turning a highly capable road car into an uncompromising track car; it's about enhancing the characteristics already built into the 992 chassis.

Compatible with Porsche Front-Axle Lift

One of the most important features of E10-72-022-01-22 is its compatibility with Porsche 911 Turbo S models fitted with the Front-Axle Lift system.

For owners who regularly use the lift function to clear steep driveways, speed bumps or other obstacles, retaining this functionality can be an important consideration when choosing suspension upgrades.

Eibach's application information specifically states that the Pro-Kit fits vehicles equipped with the factory Front-Axle Lift system.

That makes this an especially attractive option for owners looking for a lower stance without sacrificing one of the 992's most useful everyday features.

Why Fit Eibach Pro-Kit Springs?

The Eibach Pro-Kit has long been one of the most popular first steps when upgrading a performance car's suspension.

For the Porsche 911 Turbo S 992.1, benefits include:

  • Lower, more purposeful stance

  • Reduced wheelarch gap

  • Lower centre of gravity

  • Improved body control

  • More responsive handling

  • Progressive spring design

  • Designed for use with the factory electronic damper system

  • Compatible with Porsche Front-Axle Lift

  • No need to replace the complete PASM damper system

Eibach manufactures its Pro-Kit springs specifically for each application rather than simply producing a generic lowering spring. The aim is to achieve a balance between improved handling, aesthetics and everyday road use.

Transform the Stance of Your 992 Turbo S

The Porsche 911 Turbo S doesn't need much to make it stand out, which is exactly why a subtle suspension drop works so well.

Rather than dramatically changing the character of the car, the Eibach Pro-Kit brings the body closer to the wheels, reduces the factory arch gap and creates a lower, more purposeful profile.

Combined with the potential improvements in body control and steering response, it's an upgrade that can be appreciated both when looking at the car and from behind the wheel.

And because E10-72-022-01-22 has been developed to work with the factory electronic dampers and is compatible with Porsche's Front-Axle Lift system, owners can achieve that lower stance while retaining key functionality of the original suspension setup.
