Maximum permissible axle weights. (up to not past)

Eibach design their suspension to work with the above axle weights, you are looking up to and not past that figure. If you see multiple products listed for your vehicle and not sure which is the right one, checking the axle weights is a good place to start.

This also ensures that the lowering amounts are correct and the vehicle
handles as intended.

Eibach Pro-Spacer

Pro-Spacer Material is an Aluminium Alloy of grade ENAW-AlCu4PbMgMn which conforms to DIN EN 755-2: 2008 Aluminium and aluminium alloys. Extruded rod/bar, tube and profiles. These have a hardness rating of Rm = 370 N/mm2. Steel inserts for System 7 spacers are Steel Alloy of grade 42CrMo4 with a mechanical strength of grade 10.9. These are finished with an Anodised coating.

Eibach Anti-Roll Bars

Hollow Bars – Grade and material to specification BTR 120 EN10305-1 (Steel Alloy - 16CrMnMoV8-7-5-2). These are Zinc Phosphate and then Powder coated (Polyester Resin).

Solid Bars – Grade and material to Specification EN10089 (Steel Alloy – 51CrV4). These are Zinc Phosphate and then Powder coated (Polyester Resin)

ARB Bushes

Polyurethane to a shore rating of between 77 and 83 dependent upon application.

Eibach Pro-Kit and Sportline Springs

Pro - Kit and Sportline Springs, and some ERS - Grade and material to specification ED-10270-2 (Steel Alloy FD SiCr). These are Zinc Phosphate and then Powder coated (Polyester Resin).

Most ERS and specialist spring applications requiring higher tensile strength

Grade and material to specification ED-10270-2 (Steel Alloy EF2000 SiCrV).

Pro Spacer Bolts, Studs and Nuts

Steel Alloy of grade 42CrMo4 with a mechanical strength of grade 10.9.

All in stock products will be despatched out the same day if ordered before 1pm.

If the product is not in UK stock then lead time depends on stock location, if in stock within Germany then it will come over on the UK container which arrives every 2-3 weeks, in some cases express shipping can be offered at the price of £40 this then takes around 3-5 working days.

USA manufactured springs that are not held in UK stock can be brought over with an expected time scale of 6-8 weeks.

Installation Care

We have put together a few notes for you to consider.

Lowering & height amounts

All Lowering amounts are provided from a standard height car, if you have a lowered vehicle or sports model then the lowering amount may differ.

Alignment

Wheel adjustment - after completion of the spring/suspension installation, checking the wheel adjustment is required. If you are setting up the car for any specific use, for example racing for a fast road set up then please contact a tuner for best advice, however Eibach would reccomend putting all alignment back to OE specification.

Which damper

Eibach Pro-Kit springs are designed to work with OE shock absorbers but do check the damper upon installation of the springs for any signs of wear and should be changed when needed.

The installation of sport dampers can improve your suspension set up with Eibach's lowering springs for example example Bilstein B8
